1. Processing Power (CPU & RAM)

  • Shared/VPS Hosting: Resources must not exceed package limits for more than 90 consecutive seconds. This prevents "Noisy Neighbor" effects and maintains cluster stability.
  • Dedicated Server: Clients enjoy 100% exclusive access to all hardware resources (e.g., Dell PowerEdge series) with no processing restrictions.

2. Storage Usage & Inode Limits

  • Storage space is strictly for website and application data. Using server space for personal backups or bulk file distribution is prohibited.
  • Inode (file count) limits apply to each plan to ensure optimal file-system performance on our Enterprise SSD infrastructure.

3. Network & Bandwidth Integrity

  • Our infrastructure at CAT-IDC features a 450Gbps backbone with unmetered bandwidth under a Fair Use Policy (FUP).
  • Any network activity that abnormally congests our international or local gateways is subject to investigation and throttling.

4. Abuse of Resources

  • Unauthorized background processes such as cryptocurrency mining, unauthorized proxy scripts, and intensive crawlers are strictly forbidden.
  • Scripts that leak memory or fail to terminate normally may be automatically closed by our monitoring system to preserve server health.

5. Policy Enforcement

In cases of resource overage, ic-myhost will provide notifications. We reserve the right to temporarily suspend services that pose a risk to the overall stability of our infrastructure.
